Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) for Powerful Destruction of Complex Contaminants
Conventional wastewater treatment often fails to remove persistent organic pollutants (POPs), pharmaceuticals, BTEX, cyanide and other emerging contaminants. These compounds resist biological degradation and can accumulate in water systems, causing long-term ecological and health risks.
AOPs generate hydroxyl radicals that offer a powerful solution for treating contaminants, ensuring safe discharge and disposal of treated water.
Environmentally Preferred Solution
The Streamline Advanced Oxidation Process is a water-based in situ Hydroxyl Radical generator for powerful destruction of difficult molecules. The hydroxyl radical has a very high oxidation potential and reacts faster than traditional oxidants.
- Powerful destruction of difficult to break down contaminants using hydroxyl radicals.
- AOP process occurs at neutral pH as a modified Fenton’s reagent.
- Liquid to liquid application allows for rapid deployment and the ability to scale quickly.
- Low to no capex for application. Minimal opex is required.
- Extends asset integrity in wastewater infrastructure and facilities.
- Emergency Industrial Response (treating water contaminated in unplanned incidents)
- Mining (cyanide treatment)
- Landfill Leachate
- Wastewater Treatment
- Industrial Water Processes (i.e., pharmaceutical, food processing, textiles, other)
- Brine Water Treatment
How It Works
AOP utilizes a catalyst to generate Hydroxyl Radicals with hydrogen peroxide in situ at neutral pH. Our technology is easily scalable and doesn’t require large amounts of capex to treat any size application.
