CO2 Treating

Enabling Carbon Capture Utilization & Sequestration (CCUS)

Streamline is enabling industry to address the largest contributor to Green House Gases (GHG), Carbon dioxide (CO2).  Whether it’s related to 45Q tax credits or required as a permitted process, Streamline can add value to your operation.

When CO2 contains H2S or other sulfur compounds such as mercaptans, the VALKYRIE™ technology, utilizing our proprietary Redox chemistry, TALON®, TALON chemistry has the unique capability to selectively remove the sulfur compounds delivering a clean stream without the addition of other gases like oxygen or nitrogen.  Once H2S and mercaptans are removed, other processes can be utilized to deliver safely and effectively deliver a pure stream of CO2 that will meet pipeline specifications or ready for reuse or sequestration.

Streamline combines our VALKYRIE with other technologies, including Amines or membranes to offer a complete removal process.

In addition to purifying CO2, the Innovation Center, in cooperation with other industry experts, is developing multiple solutions for purifying  CO2 for reuse.

Utilization.  Many businesses need CO2 onsite, or have neighboring business which need CO2 streams, bottled CO2, or dry ice.  A little extra equipment can convert the CO2 to a beneficial form ready to be delivered or used.

Transformation. Streamline is working with a variety of technologies to transform CO2 into useful compounds with a broad range of applications.  The key to making this practical and economical is starting with a high purity CO2 stream.

Sequestration.  Constructive uses of CO2 are a positive step, but ultimately it is desirable to lock up the carbon away from interaction with the atmosphere.   Whether it is low-carbon cement that uses CO2 for curing, or geologic sequestration, Streamline has solutions.
